My 2014 town & country 165,000 miles.has the no longer available Mopar Lifetime Maximum Warranty purchased when vehicle was new. $18,000+ in warranty work. Thats why the warranty is no longer available.

I had a 2012 GC Overland Summit. I loved that thing, it was a tank. With my 5.7, I ran into a camshaft and lifer problems. It became a pain after that.

As far as I know, during a off-road trial it's always better to use the 4 low because the vibrations of the road are filtered by the reductor and this protects the gear box.

Have you tried changing out the stock air filter with a K&N air filter this not only gives a horsepower boost it will drastically increase one's gas mileage

Sadly, the Gladiators are underpowered and the Pedal Commander isn’t going to change that. I ran a Pedal Commander in my V8 Hemi RAM 1500 and it definitely woke it up but it already had the power there on tap.

why are air suspension so fragile

Look at the ARB Hydraulic Off-Road Jack! I have one and am on 37's and it works great. It'd be perfect for situations like this without the safety risk of that unit. Anyone can use the hydraulic jack handle to lift the vehicle as it requires almost no pressure.

I can say I have a '23 Power Wagon with front and rear lockers on 37's and Carli King Suspension and the Cherokees can do a surprising amount of the tracks I tackled. Reallly good tires with proper inflation seems to be the big differentiator. Just my two cents. Take someone who is setup like me along with a 13k winch to be there just in case....

For $500 you can put in a rear locker that works without air pressure or the like to engage and disengage.

I bought the Mopar MaxCare warranty for 8 years, no deductible. Bought the warranty just before the factory warranty expired. Paid $50 over cost from a well known mid west auto group known for discounting their factory extended warranties. I'm in Charlotte - still seeking a local, reputable Mopar dealer. Fingers crossed.

How long does your propane tank last with that pit

I don't know what the popping sound is, but I'd be really doubtful it has anything to do with the bakes. Can't think of any brake component that would make that sound. I'd more suspect a transfer case noise or a differential noise -- like a posi-track engaging. If a CV joint or a U-joint made that sound, it would likely fail immediately. But good overview -- appreciate the analysis.

I am towing a 23-foot Airstream with a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same 3.6L V6 and have similar issues. My max torque is at 4000 RPM. Cruise control runs about a gear too high to get RPM's under 2000 RPM for better fuel economy. This probably puts a lot of stress on the motor and transmission. In Auto mode without cruise control it still seems to favor higher gearing on climbs so I was manually shifting down to get just above 3000 RPM. There is no Tow/Haul mode, but I found Sport mode sort of works for that. It favors lower gears to keep RPM's up and holds them longer on climbs. My temps typically run under 210 degrees unless I really ramp up the RPM's. A key consideration is not just tow capacity, but also GCVWR which is the total allowed combined weight of everything. I can't fully load my trailer without exceeding the Jeep's GCVWR. Watch your tongue weights, payloads, and axle ratings. Use a weight distribution hitch and check everything at a CAT scale. Happy towing!

On trans delay you can reset the tcm by using key in off and run sequence this will reset also you can reser throttle body. Goggle on resetting tcm and also tbs I've done my trailhawk couple times already. The computer re inize different drivers. 2015 trailhawk so far no problems other than those 2 resets that only happens after I drive it my wife drives it 98% of time. Absolutely buy another

My mechanic said stay away from anything Dodge/Ram/Jeep as they have a lot that come in. The brain Your talking about is the TIPM( total integrated power module). It controls all the electronics and is a known issue. I like them personally but i trust my mechanic.i just don’t trust Stellantis/FAC.

What are your general thoughts on how lift and bigger tires decrease towing ability? I'm considering towing an Escape 19ft trailer (GVWR 4,400lbs) with a JT Rubicon, Max Tow on 40's, 4.5" lift and 1 ton axles, 5.13 gears.

I have owned my Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk since I bought it new in 2017. I have not done a lot of off roading, but I have done serious snow stuff and it is a beast in my experience. My only problem was with the air suspension system in the rear….could have been because I may have overloaded the vehicle during a house move. In any case, it has been reliable for me and I have over 92000 miles now. On balance I would definitely consider another one when the time comes for a new vehicle.
